Our story
We’re a group of locals who grew up in Albuquerque and have seen how the city often lags behind when it comes to modern conveniences and technology. Instead of waiting for someone else to bring better solutions here, we decided to create one ourselves. We saw an opportunity to introduce something forward-thinking — Smart Micro Markets that deliver drinks, snacks, and everyday essentials directly to high-traffic spots across the city.
We started by testing the idea ourselves, placing smart units in real locations around Albuquerque to see what people actually needed. What began as a simple solution for hydration quickly grew into something bigger: AI-powered Smart Micro Markets that bring drinks, snacks, and everyday essentials directly to high-traffic spots across Albuquerque.
But Jihanki isn’t just about what we’re building — it’s about who gets to build it. We believe everyone deserves the chance to own something, not just work for someone else. That’s why we run Jihanki as a partner-operator model: the people running our machines aren’t employees, they’re owners with a real stake in what they grow. A portion of every sale also goes back into supporting local community programs, because we believe in building something that gives back to the city that raised us — both to the neighborhoods we serve and the people who help us serve them.
